The Wiccan Waltz is a short story by Pragya Vishnoi and the first part of a series. It is about a girl who finds herself interested in the realm of witchcraft.
As she embarks on a journey to discover her talents, she also discovers some mysteries and the good and bad that exist in that world. Since it is a short story, I am not going to get into details of the plot.
Overall, the book has a few flaws. I thought that the characters themselves needed more definition. Sometimes, they are just names across the page with no background or insight into the personalities. Then there are some continuity issues here and there, and spellings and grammar errors as well. Perhaps most of these could have been avoided if it were more detailed, perhaps a novella instead of a short story.
Since it is a first book from the author I think it is a great attempt and hope that her next projects are better edited than this one.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick read in this genre.
And I thank the author for sending me the book for reviewing.
