You know that time when you decided you are going to start running for exercise? You begin to feel the toxins in your body being flushed out with sweat. Along with perhaps some of your energy as well. Your clothes turn to a darker version of themselves, stained with sweat.
That is how it is here, this summer. We saw the hottest day yet this year, and next month is going to be much more of the same. I am typing this at my laptop, and there are sweaty imprints of my wrists on my laptop. Time to bring out my towel. My hand is constantly reaching out for my water bottle. That is the cycle – drink, sweat, drink, sweat.
This past week was one spent in relative quiet. Since I will be preparing to write my exams in the coming two months, I have deleted all time wasting sources, (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Myntra, Flipkart, etc) from my phone. Therefore even if there is nothing for me to do, I am definitely not being sucked into the bottomless abyss of social networks.
I also read one book last week – The Rise of Sivagami; and I will be writing a review as well.
What else? – Nothing else happened to make the week awesome, it was the same old routine as usual. Goals are being met, although less excersice is being done because of a serious lack of energy.
Hope you all have a great week ahead!
