I am not a morning person. I wake up, and even after breakfast, I remain in a state of fogginess. It’s like my brain is fogged up like a bathroom mirror after a hot shower.
I spend a while watching the news or going through my Twitter TL. It is only a few hours after breakfast that I feel capable of coherent thought and can take any sort of actionable decision. Before this time it’s all about how I manage routine things like a blind bat. Brush teeth, drink water, get ready for the day, eat breakfast – all this is done without a thought. And then around 10 or 11 is when I feel I’m ready to face the day. I do get 8 hours of sleep, eat healthy and workout, so this fogginess is more or less something that has been around all my life.
